Being Creative

Just want to say Thank you for all of you following me, really appreciated it. hope you enjoy my post in the future.

Waiting for my new job to start on Thursday I've been pottering around the house doing little creative things.These glass jars, jugs i brought at a brickerbrak for 50p each at a village fete.

I filled the short fat one with a section of my small old buttons, to the brim, most of them i found.

The tall thin one, i filled with small glass beads and emptied on these little jars, might fill them with sequins.Also this is my new mini project. a photo i took from Grandad garden which i am tonal sequins to fill the picture.

Little secret if you glue a thin piece of fabric on card and print an picture on it, through your computer picture it transfers your photo onto fabric.

F**** Me! I finally Finished

Oh my i all done. been up since 5am sewing sequins today to get it done. My left index finger is sore. but glad its all over but i am going to miss all the great friends i have made and the atmosphere in a studio.
This work is called " Letting them escape my body" its about detoxing my inner emotions. also concept between pretty/ugly.


8 weeks worth of sewing, £200 worth of sequins from josyrose.com and roughly 3000 sequins.


off to pub tonight to chillelax! and to party!! woop woop!!

Studio Work

This is me today, working away, sequincing my stretched sick face. this is my final piece only 20 days to go till deadline at 4pm, i in early tomorrow to carry on working at it. gonna take ages!! but be worth it, i hope.

So much work and little time!!

So much work and little time left only 3 weeks till my degree show lots and lots of sequins to sew, paper work to fill and essays to complete.

this is my sequin sick that i am making with sewing sequins, i want it to be about size A1 this is at the moment just bigger than a A4 sheet its taken forever but it needs to be done!

these are my sickly emotional colours, so complete the sick, also to fill in a picture of me, shown on an older post with these and i need to sew some slash backs too.
this is a section of my wall in my room showing all my plans i got to do within the deadline of my final 3 years all down to this!! its so scary and stressful but when its over i bet i miss the pressure of a deadline!
